The Delica 4 Thin Blue Line is a limited edition of the Delica 4, finished with blue accents. The Spyderco Delica 4 has been a staple in the pockets of knife enthusiasts since its introduction. With its light weight and high-quality construction, it is the ideal choice for an EDC knife. The blade is made of VG-10 a very good all-round steel and comes in a half serrated Spyderedge, making this knife perfect for heavier tasks such as cutting through fibrous material. The blade is further equipped with the all-too-familiar Spyderco hole for one-handed opening. This lightweight variant features injection-moulded, fibreglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales. These scales not only make the knife surprisingly light but have a fantastic grip due to the integrated pattern. Fitted with a black reversible tip-down carry clip and a lanyard eye.
The "Thin Blue Line" is a symbolic reference to the role of enforcement as a barrier that prevents chaos in society. To honour the service and sacrifice of police officers, Spyderco created the "Thin Blue Line" series.
A portion of all sales of these knives is donated to the "Tunnel to Towers Foundation". Tunnel to Towers runs several charitable programmes to support first responders and military personnel.
