The Gerber Straightlace is a slipjoint bendimems with a very good price-performance ratio. When open, a slipjoint provides resistance against accidental slamming. Nevertheless, it does not lock completely. With a 7.2 cm blade, you have enough reach to fulfil many everyday tasks. The blade is made of polished 7Cr17MoV steel. A stainless steel that you can easily sharpen yourself. A combination of aluminium with plastic colour accents was chosen for the handle.
