Measuring instructions
Clothing
To measure exactly which Jack Wolfskin size is most suitable for you, you will first need a tape measure. It is best to ask someone else to take your measurements while you stand straight and relaxed without shoes. Try not to pull the measuring tape too tight, but also not too loose around the body. Avoid bulky clothing. For the most accurate results, have only your undergarments or close-fitting clothes on, such as a base layer.
- Chest: measure across the widest part of the chest horizontally around the body.
- Waist: measure around the narrowest part of the torso.
- Hip: measure horizontally around the widest part of the hips.
- Arm length: measure arm length from the sleeve head through the outside of the elbow to the wrist. The elbow should be slightly bent while doing so.
- Inseam: measure the vertical distance from the crotch to the ground.
Shoes
First measure your foot (the distance from the big toe to the end of the heel) in centimetres with a tape measure. Jack Wolfskin recommends always measuring both feet and then taking the larger one as your size. Then choose the corresponding Jack Wolfskin shoe size in the size chart provided.

Fit
Jack Wolfskin uses a total of three terms to describe the fit of its own clothing. In order from tight to loose fit, these are:
- Slim fit: a sleek fitted shape that fits close to the body and creates a slim look. The fit offers it maximum freedom of movement during sporting activities.
- Regular fit: a comfortable fit that is neither too tight nor too loose. This fit has a modern look suitable for any activity and stature.
- Relaxed fit: this clothing is designed to offer a looser and more comfortable feel. It can be beneficial for people who prefer a more casual and relaxed look, or for those who want more space in their clothing for freedom of movement or layering.
