Measuring instructions

To measure exactly which size of Didriksons is most appropriate for you, first of all you need a tape measure. Then measure here in centimeters as close to your body as possible to determine your size. To choose the right size for jackets and vests, measure your chest circumference. To choose the right size for pants, start from your hip and waist measurements. Your range of motion is already taken into account. Should you be in between sizes, Didriksons recommends choosing the smaller size.

  • Chest: measure across the widest part of your chest and over your shoulder blades. This is the most important indicator for outerwear.
  • Hip: measure around your hips at the widest point, about 20 cm below your waist.
  • Waist: measure your waist at the narrowest point. If you want to know what size to choose for pants, start from your hip circumference first. The waist size is secondary.
  • Inseam: inseam is measured from the crotch to the floor.

Upper and Lower Body Clothing

Fit

Didriksons uses a total of four terms to describe the fit of its own clothing. In order from tight to loose fit, these are:

Pasvormen Didriksons
  • Narrow fit: A close-fitting fit that follows your curves.
  • Regular fit: The most common fit with classic dimensions and room for an extra layer underneath if desired.
  • Relaxed fit: this relaxed fit is for when you want neither a too snug garment nor an oversized design.
  • Oversized fit: Didriksons' widest fit that is partly a design choice to give garments the space they deserve, and partly for those who want looser, larger garments. For a tighter fit, choose one size smaller than you normally wear.
